Available now: Insider Insights
The Insiders, or the ambassador employees our clients select to answer candidates’ questions, are key to the success of the Clinch Employee Connections platform. Content shared by employees receives 8x more engagement than content shared by brand channels and employee stories are 20% more immersive than traditional careers site content. Put simply, people trust other people more than corporate brands.
To really showcase these valuable employees and give visitors to our customers’ careers sites a better idea of who they are, the Insider profile on the Employee Connections platform has been significantly improved thanks to a redesign of the insights section.
Insiders now have the opportunity to populate their profile with interesting information about themselves, such as their main motivations, greatest achievements and top advice. This redesign really helps to highlight each Insider’s experience at the company and helps candidates easily find an expert in an area relevant to them.
Available now: Video Responses
Video content is continuing to increase in popularity and for good reason. Websites that use video have conversion rates 66% higher than those that don’t, and the average viewer remembers 95 percent of a message when it is watched, compared to only 10% of content that was read. With the proliferation of online content available, video allows you to engage candidates faster with memorable messaging.
To help our customers take advantage of the benefits of video content, we’ve made it much easier for our Insiders to respond to discussions on the Employee Connections platform. Whilst this was previously possible, the workflow was complicated, and we’ve worked hard to try and make it a simple option for Insiders to respond in this way.
Video responses can be presented in conjunction with text based responses, or on their own, and there are also options for customers to review those video responses before they are published. Video responses are also showcased on the Videos page of the Employee Connections platform.
Available now: Customisable Categories
At Clinch, we recognise that different companies have different recruitment needs and there is a lot of variety in the topics their candidates are interested in. That’s why we are always looking for ways to improve our customisation options.
To support this, we’ve made it possible for customers of the Employee Connections product to define the specific categories that they would like to appear on the “Top discussions” section on the home page.
Configured via new settings in the management portal, customers can now showcase discussions from specific categories that may be particularly relevant to their audience.
The functionality also provides the option to change these featured categories regularly, so they can promote discussions which may be topical.
Available now: New languages available
In line with our commitment to enhancing user experience and fostering inclusivity, we are thrilled to announce the availability of new languages onour platform. Users can now seamlessly navigate and engage in Dutch, English, Portuguese (Brazil), Spanish (Mexico), French, and German. This linguistic expansion aims to cater to the diverse needs of our users, creating an environment where everyone feels comfortable and connected, regardless of their native language. We believe that this linguistic diversity will amplify the global reach of our discussions and facilitate enriching collaboration within our global community.
Available now: Improved Blog Editor
Adding blogs to your careers site is a great way to add content around particularly niche or topical themes and really giving candidates an in-depth look at day to day life in your organisation, as well as improving SEO
Following usability testing with a number of current customers, we’ve made some improvements to the Clinch Recruitment Marketing blog editor.
Enhancements include:
- The ability to easily add images by dragging and dropping
- A new ‘blockquote’ type content block to highlight longer quotes
- The ability to preview the blog directly from the editor screen
- Move content blocks up or down the page to easily rearrange content
Available now: Candidate CRM Search: Pinned Filters
This is a simple but very effective enhancement to the Clinch Recruitment Marketing CRM. Our customers are able to use lots of different filters to search for pre-application candidates stored in the Clinch CRM, helping them find and engage untapped pools of potential new employees. They can choose to save these filters, making repeat searches super easy.
This update allows our customers to pin their most-used filters to the top of the list, saving time-squeezed recruitment teams from having to scroll through the whole list each time.
We’ve also made changes to the visibility and usability of our filters as part of our ongoing quest to make using our solutions simpler for our customers.
Coming soon: Improved Live Chat
Live Chat is a key part of the Clinch Employee Connections platform and allows our customers to address key topics for a particular audience, such as graduate cohorts, as well as quickly creating lots of high quality content for the platform.
Our updated Live Chat user interface delivers a much more modern, streamlined feel with greatly improved usability, which will make the process of running live chats even easier for our customers.
Included will be a new onboarding assistant which steps new Insiders and Admins through the Live Chat system, letting them know about the full range of features available and making it super quick and easy to set up a Live Chat.
We’ve also significantly enhanced the Live Chat text editor to create a much more modern and engaging experience for both Insiders and candidates.
Delivering an experience similar to other popular messaging platforms such as Slack, the basic text editor as been replaced by a an advanced editor which currently supports:
- Lists (numbered and bulleted)
- @mentions (which will ultimately result in in-system notifications)
- Auto hyperlinks
- White spacing
- Bold
The new Live Chat functionality will start rolling out to clients at the end of January 2024.
Coming soon: LinkedIn CRM Connect
Clinch is one of the first companies to collaborate with LinkedIn on their exciting new CRM Connect integration.
LinkedIn CRM Connect connects Clinch’s CRM system to LinkedIn Recruiter to help talent professionals simplify the hiring workflow, save time building talent pipelines, and nurture candidate relationships with up-to-date candidate insights from LinkedIn.
The integration, which is only available for LinkedIn Recruiter seat-holders, will allow Clinch customers to enhance their CRM experience. With CRM Connect, recruiting teams will receive the following benefits:
- Access robust, up-to-date candidate insights
- Work more efficiently across LinkedIn Recruiter and Clinch
- Achieve more impactful candidate nurture
